About BTS

Who Is BTS?

BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan, meaning "Beyond The Scene") is a seven-member South Korean group that transformed K-pop into a global phenomenon. Debuting in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE), the group – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – became the first K-pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100, sell out stadiums worldwide, address the United Nations General Assembly, and earn Grammy nominations. Their fanbase, ARMY (Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth), is recognized as one of the most passionate and organized fan communities in entertainment history.

The 2026 Comeback Era

After completing South Korea's mandatory military service – a process that separated the members from June 2022 through June 2025 – all seven members reunited to begin work on their highly anticipated comeback. Recording began in July 2025, channeling years of personal growth, solo experiences, and anticipation into their most meaningful project yet.

2026 Comeback highlights:

  • "The 5th Album" – 14 new tracks releasing March 20, 2026
  • Massive World Tour – 79 concerts spanning April 2026 through March 2027
  • Revolutionary Production – 360-degree in-the-round stage maximizing fan proximity
  • Global Cinema Event – Four concert films screening in 2,500+ theaters across 65 countries
  • Historic Demand – Weverse crashed upon comeback announcement; ticket registration breaking records
